Making an image’s background transparent allows you to use the image in multiple designs without a defined background surrounding it. This video will demonstrate how to do this in PicMonkey:
To make the background of your image transparent:
Open an image or template in the PicMonkey editor.
On the Layers palette, select your background.
Click “Convert to layer.”
Click the Color Layer.
On the Solid Color palette, click the Color dot.
On the Spectrum palette, check Transparent.
To preserve the transparent background, be sure to export your file as a PNG.
